Edit button seems to be gone for many threads but still there for some. Dont understand why !!

Madhav, if I am not mistaken, edit button is available for a particular post for almost 24 hours from the time of posting. After that Edit button is not visible as you are not allowed to edit your post according to forum rules.

From forum rules - "All members will have an open window period of 24 hours during which time they may edit their posts. After this period members will not be able to edit their posts in any way whatsoever."
