no, I meant clicking noises through the headphone - not when putting my ear against the laptop. All noises I am talking about are the noises coming through the headphone out of the laptop.

I have the following system
Creative X-Mod Wireless Dissected! by VR-Zone.com

From my experience I find the sound quality better than my onboard soundcard.
But I cant say whether it performs as good as an entry level cd player asI have never heard one.

From the above review posted it seems like the SYstem is using a very good dac used in many high end audio equipment.
Hope this helps..

But its cost is as cheap as a entry level DVD player so its definitely value for money for sure.

Hi,

Do you also use a wi-fi network? Reviews on Amazon are unanimous that interference makes the wi-fi network unusable.

Nope I dont use a wi-fi network
