I'm looking for a pair of wall mounted wireless bookshelves to use as rear surrounds.

Compact in size.

Should connect to my marantz sr6009 and integrate with the rest of my system.

Price less than 20k. Any suggestions?

For wireless surround speaker you will need speakers with their own amplifier plus wireless receiving/transmitting kit which will connect to your receiver. Don't think it is possible. There are separate systems for that like, sonos or denon heos. They will be hugely expensive

If wireless isn't an option, then consider a Dolby Atmos sepaker like this

You can place it on top of your Front speakers and get a decent output.. It may not be ideally right, but should help your case..

Also, if your AVR supports front heights, use it.. It will enhance your movie watching..

For me it's basically no wires whether front or back. Hence they need to be wireless speakers. Are front heights/ atmos speakers specific? Or can any speaker be used as a atmos/ front height speaker?

Was just browsing through this.

Will any of these products be of use to me? I want to add surround speakers without wires. (Either BT or WiFi) .And they should connect with my current Yamaha AVR. If yes, then i will start looking out for surrounds.

Thanks guys.

No speakers are truly Wireless as they will still need a power outlet at the very least for atleast , Unless of course they have an inbuilt battery

if power outlet is not a problem then get something like this https://www.amazon.com/Multichannel-Wireless-Transmitter-Surround-Speakers/dp/B01M1BK1U3

Ok so are there any speakers that have their own internal battery?

I have a power outlet to which I can connect the speaker's so that shouldn't be a problem.

It's the speaker wires I don't want running around the room.

If power outlet is not a problem, get one of the many powered Speakers, And get the Multichannel transmitter/receiver as mentioned earlier.
That way you will only need an outlet near one of the speakers and the other speaker will still have to be connected to the main speaker

Or if you want the battery one there is a kickstarter project https://www.kickstarter.com/project...reless-surround-small-size-big?token=6bcddb07

I spoke to Bijen from Diyaudiocart. Honestly he wasn’t much help. I don’t think he understood what I was trying to convey. I asked him if I can use any of the Dayton kits they have and he said no I couldn’t. Looking forward to anyone else with any inputs. Thanks.

I know this does not fit your budget, specially not for a pair of surround speakers and also I don't think there is any way to connect these to any AVR

But just for information sake for present and for maybe future readers of this thread , since the title is WIRELESS SPEAKER'S

Here is a true wireless speakers which won't need power when it's playing. Ofcourse it becomes difficult to charge it at some other place and then keep it back , so practically it needs a power point to charge but not to play music
