Here is a video showing a recent xrk audio speaker that was assembled using random components in a TL enclosure made for a much high end speaker.
Even though crossover can be modified etc, and much more scope for improvement (probably), on a good pair of headphones, this one already sounds like a fun speaker to me even in mono.
