Does this thing even work? Or is there some procedure to do it? I tried doing sync subtitle for out sync sub but never been able to get it work. Don't know what's wrong. Xtreamer is running of latest firmware.
EDIT: Just thought of a way and tried and found how it works. Have to pause the movie and then keep on pressing the sync till the correct line comes up. The Xtreamer manual is totally useless, no help at all.

Also I see some stupid audio issues. If the Dolby Digital audio track is track 2 then sometimes the playback of the video just stops but the audio just keeps on playing. It happens if there are two audio tracks. Then I've to change to track 1 which is AAC 2ch and it starts playing from the position where the video got paused. Another way out is to press the left cursor to go back 10 sec and after that it keeps working.
Another issue with AAC 6ch.. The audio sometimes becomes very harsh, seems like the highs/vocals are clipping badly. Here again the same trick of going back 10 sec using the left cursor works.
Anyone else facing similar issues? Are these known issues for Xtreamer?

I doubt there are known issues as such, usually they are file related problems.......try playing another file with the same audio tracks and see if the problem persists, usually it wont......

Nope sam, this is not just happening for one file. It's happening for more than one movies with exact same characteristics. And it's definitely not an issue with the file but with the firmware. Cause everything becomes normal after fiddling with the cursors. If the files themselves are corrupt(which I highly doubt) then the problem won't just disappear after retracting 10/20 secs of playback. Those cursors are the saving grace (I'm talking about the buttons surrounding the Enter button). Actually I'm gonna name them magic cursors he he.

I too have audio issues, some time when i start a movie sound does not come, if i jump forward using the cursor button audio starts, the same file when played earlier did played with sound. even restarting the file solved the problem.

I am facing similar problem with multiple movie files... i think something is wrong with recent firmwares.. looks like it is problem with subtitle speed..

when movie starts subtitles are synced.. as movie progresses subtitles start going out of sync.. the difference increases as movie progresses..

don't know if we can adjust the speed of subtitles.. Please share if somebody has a fix for this..

I am not sure about Xtreamer. In WD Live we can adjust the subtitle timing in the remote itself. Check the manual for the functions of each menu item, it may be hidden somewhere.

I am able to sync the subtitle timings.. like moving it back or forward by few miliseconds/seconds/minutes.. This is not an issue..
The problem is:- as movie progresses subtitles once again go out of sync..surely indicates that subtitles are running with different speed than the movie..

I wanted to know if we could somehow configure subtitle speed on Xtreamer..

Hmmm I'm also running the same recent firmware but not facing the issue explained as by Alok. Might be the case that the subtitle file itself is corrupt with wrong timing? Have you tried to play the same movie in say VLC player?
