YAMAHA NS1000M Complete re veneering with pics

hi,
all i purchase these speakers around 4years back and enjoying since.
the speakers are functionally perfect,but pretty bad shape.
i compared these with some of the other expensive speakers around $5000,canton Vento 890DC like and found that they are very good speakers.
they comes with beryllium tweeter and beryllium midrange.
i decided to re veneer them with African walnut.
purchased veneer,superior danish oil,wood putty and other things online.
started project and it took me around 30days to finishing.only 05coats done,another will done after full drying of veneer.
during process i replaced the oxidized wires to midrange,and re soldering done for some of the joints.

Great restoration krell. I am yet to hear a Yamaha NS1000M, but I am in no doubt they sounded great.

Great work, you've inspired me to try something similar. What was the brand of wood filler & where did you procure it?

ronseal wood filler purchased along with wood veneer from ebay uk through online.very good product.the veneer is heat type melting.

Could you share the cost details of the veneer.

the veneer costs me about $80,wood putty about $18 and danish oil around$25,including shipping.
