Unfortunately for some strange reason the 3072IN is not deliverable to my Pincode in Kolkata when everything else is.

How is the Yamaha YHT-1840 compared to the YHT-3072IN?

Both are same except Active Sub Bluetooth Dolby Vision HDR pass through in 3072. Also 3072 decodes Dolby True Hd and Dts Hdma formats which 1840 doesn't.

may be because it draws power from AVR and so puts restrictions on speaker wattage (Current and upgrade in future) if you continue with the passive SW.
