how,which r the components,have u experimented?
I have been using wintek for more than a decade now along with a dozen or more other brands. About the components, it works by swapping the caps and resistors in the board till you get the desired sound.
Boards like pre-amp, tone control, bass boosting circuit, filter circuits, X-overs etc. It's like different ingredients for different curries but they all will taste good if the ingredients of each curry is balanced.
Ready made boards are time savers but they are not specifically assembled for different amplifiers, speakers in varying cabinet sizes etc. Its easy to assemble boards on a common pcb.
I have used and liked around half a dozen different sub filter boards using different quad/dual op-amps. I liked more than a dozen tone controls. Tweaking always benefits and the only way to do it is by experimenting.
In the process, I have blown up stuff and felt the 'electric rush' (lost count). Regarding bass, I add a good amount of capacitance like 15-22,000mfd x 4 caps. Normally uses 35A bridge diode.

Images of two X-overs and a speaker system.
1) Crystal 2) Wintek 3) Osaka paper cone 7" woofer with inverted cloth surround (good mid fq).
Crystal X-over is used with the Osaka woofers. Wintek has comparably heavy inductors which didn't suit the sound signature of Osaka.
P.S. Using a bass boosting board after 2 way active filter will enhance the bass quality (IMO).
