8 ohm sub in car

how can i use a 8ohm eminence sub which vinay put for sale.iam currently using 4 channel jbl 1004e amp. two channel are powering the front comps and sub in bridged mode.does the amp sufficient for the sub how will be output.iam using this in ford figo with jvc hu kw xr 816.comps and sub r infinity 6350 and 1240 se respectively

You would need mono amp for the 8-ohm sub. I used JVC arsenal (now I have taken it off and shortly I will put it out for sale) to power my Polk SR-10DVC in 8ohm mode. It was awesome. I can't comment on the power output of your amp @ 8ohms. Basically, it would be 50% lower (in theory) than 4ohm mode. Also, AB class amp may not be good for lower frequencies.
