After many many moons today i shed a tear...... for this great man who once walked our land.

His rockets made our dreams go sky high and his words lifted our thoughts to lofty heights.

Simple living High thinking made Dr APJ a true Bharat Ratna.

He was truly OUR PRESIDENT.

I , like many others, will miss him..

in remembrance of Dr APJ...

RIP Sir !

Yes,I heard it while driving back.
Bharatratna, missileman ,ex-President of India and many more.
He was delivering a lecture when he collapsed.Teaching and guiding till end.
A true Idol.Difficult to descried in words.
Rest in Piece.

A wonderful person, so humble despite his stature.
Universally loved and admired. The best loved President of the country.
A top grade scientist, administrator.

It was a genuine shock.

Yesterday I was too busy and could not watch TV, surf on computer, use mobile, so I was not aware about it. But when I woke up this morning, seen lot of messages on Whatsapp about this sad news. :(
I couldn't believe it is true, the man who was still working for country with dedication is no more. A big loss for nation. RIP

RIP, Dr. Kalam. You were one cool dude in the establishment...

(BTW, he read at least the gist of any book or material given to him. In some cases, he read everything. If you met him years later, he would in some cases remember the context of the previous meeting, especially if it was an interesting scientific/technological question.)

What a guy.
The Only man in this country, who's memory brings a feeling of Pride for the nation- no feelings of Religion/caste/education/money..not a thing but pride.

Thankfully he went the doing the thing he loved doing- Inspiring

This is a true story ... about to be told..
About a man .... made of gold...

About a man... who we all miss today
About a man ...who dreamed about India all day..

The silver hair... the childlike smile..
Those expressive eyes... that curious mind..

Of humble beginnings and great perseverance
This is his story... to inspire us to greater glory...

From Thumba to NASA.. they wondered in awe
How simple a man could envision..
The hardest of missions...

From rockets in space & to science & history
From music to teaching to spirituality..

He is the pinnacle of what India stands for
No region No religion
No Caste No money
Could sway him in his cause for so many

His Indian-ness stood tall
Taller than the Taj Mahal

Be the eagle .. & Rise above problems.. he said

To shine like the sun
You must burn like one.. he said

Awake... arise and ignite your mind ...
Spread the wings of fire and make India strong... he said..

With great pride and joy..
& in this day and time..
He was the greatest of us Indians by a mile..

I never realized...
till the day the angels called you
How much you meant to me
with your grace, wit & personality

Goodbye..oh teacher..
Goodbye.. Oh scientist
Goodbye.. my dear friend
Goodbye... the father of my modern India

Try our best ...we will
Try our hardest... we will

To make every child in India see your dream
To awaken the Indian of our dreams

A dream that keeps us children wide awake
Hard work and success will follow in its wake

These lines are but a little flower
Please accept this.. Oh great one..

These days... I am told a lore..
They dont make them great ones.. no more..

In Prayer and for new beginnings

respectfully,
mpw

It is almost like a personal loss. Have never felt like this for someone I haven't known personally
