Hello, I'm very new to the home theater scene so please feel free to correct any mistakes.
So I want to play 4K Blu-ray rips I have locally and have decided to buy a mini pc for the same. Found a good deal on the dell WYSE but I'm not sure it'll be able to output 4K movies + it only has a display port (will using a dp to hdmi work?)
My AVR is a Denon x2800h to which I want to connect the the PC (Dell Wyse High Performance Mini PC (AMD GX 424CC, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, Windows 10 Pro) LINK

Display port to hdmi should work if it supports 4k. I have used displayport to hdmi upto QHD resolution as my display go max to qhd and not 4k. It was from my 2012 macbook pro.

Check from Official Dell site , whether this pc is capable of 4k Resolution , also It supports 5.1 audio through HDMI.
Otherwise u will end up in adding optical converter for audio output.
My guess is it should support both.

I have bought this and used extensively as a media server and media player.
Cheap, good specs, upgradable and gets the job done.

It even did some upsampling work for HQplayer, before I moved to a full fledged desktop.
