If you have adopted the new 2015 MacBook then this cable is a must! It allows attaching USB 3.0 and older USB devices to the 2015 MacBook. At the time of posting this, there are very few devices with a USB-C connector, so this USB-C to USB 3.0 adapter is a must. I found the build quality to be good and I like the black color that I chose. I like how it's so short and light. That makes throwing it in my backpack along with my 2015 MacBook hassle-free.
