ACER PICO Projector Repair

I am in a jam. About a year back one of my relatives procured one ACER C 20 pico projector (LED Lamp) from london for me. Till 2 week back things were fine but now the image is too grainy to use. ACER INDIA has expressed their inability to provide any service. Is there any hope of getting it repaired? I am from Kolkata. Help from members required please.

Can you clearly mention the problem with the image? Do you have dead pixels? You can try displaying plain monochrome images and different color. If you see pixels which are always on or off, then the DLP chip is most likely failed.

A lot of white dots appear on the welcome screen when I start the projector, with time white dots disappear but even the text on welcome screen written in white slowly turns black. I understand there is definitely something wrong, my question is whether it is possible to get this unit serviced reliably anywhere in INDIA (Preferably KOLKATA). Any help is welcome please.

Have you got any help from Acer or able to repair it? I am also in Kolkata and having the exactly same issue with my Acer H5360BD DLP 3D projector.
