Looks like pre-1992 models that were then sold at 499 Pounds each. Here is one review I was able to get - Adcom GFP 555 II Preamp and GFA 545 II Power Amp Reviewed

AFAIK Adcom GFP-750 is the killer preamp. No other one in their series comes close. Out of production unfortunately.
