I don't have the means to buy updated speakers, so I'm doing something that is frowned upon. I'm using a second pair of front tower speakers for my music. I was wondering if I could get any recommendations or tips on how to best utilize what I have to increase the volume of my system. Keep in mind that this is 100% for audio, I don't watch TV or use surround sound.
Main-
Denon AVR-985
Sony ss-mf515 towers
Klipsch r-12sw subwoofer
My denons front preouts are connected to a second receiver via rca cord.
Secondary-
JVC RX-6000V
Sony ss-mf315 towers
Any help would be appreciated. Its sounds pretty good now. Also need help with speaker placement for the four towers for 2.1 music only. Thanks
