All the speakers I made - suri

@Santhol - Body sculpting surgery is never pretty!

@Suri - did you try Silicone implants to reduce sibilance? They might absorb the high energy peaks better ... :)

On a more serious note, I thought it is the insides that determine level of sibilance, but you chose to do liposuction on the love handles. (oops! I just had to slip into less serious domain :D)

hi gobble -

have done a little bit of research on those scanspeak tweeters - (they can be crossed-over pretty low)

and found that -

apart from all the factors that can cause them to "over-perform" -

a significant factor is-

the baffle that surrounds the tweeter.

once i have trimmed the baffle - i will listen -

and then think of other things.

postscript - just a thought, gobble -

when either of the copulating partners develops "love handles", is it not time to stop trying to derive pleasure from pursuit of carnal pleasure with said subject?

and instead - use that time in valuable pursuits?:) ( you know? -like watching mammals do it on national geographic?!!!!)

All the best. For what it is worth, I think that your speakers now look better (more symmetrical and less top-heavy). I think that once they get painted over again, they will look like sculptures!

Was all that solid wood that got chipped off? If so, wow!

yikes! after those beautiful pics to see this. but then its also good to see the inside scoop on how the talented mr suri does his designing. overall i'd take the gory pictures to learn more. i can always watch the screen with one eye closed! thou art indeed brave and are possessed with plenty of patience suri!

Congrats Suri:clapping:. Way to go mate!! Glad that worked. And the witches still look good, am sure they'll be look as good as they sound once they have been polished and lacquered.

Congratulations suri! I think the speakers look more proportionate now than before. Should look much better when sanded, polished & lacquered:)

@Suri, Titus, Stevieboy, Rallynut(?): plan the Kannur->Bangalore->Kannur meet soon. Some rough dates would help plan ahead.
