Altec Lansing VS4121 2.1 speaker

I bought Altec Lansing VS4121 2.1 speaker by 2009. For specs (https://www.cnet.com/products/altec-lansing-vs4121/specs/)
Had used it with my PC. Since last five years I havn't used it becuase of a problem in the woofer. It was dumped inside the box after failing to repair the sub woofer of the system.
Now I have the two working LR speakers with me.

What can I do with the speakers? Can it be used with any other subwoofer?
Can suitable sub woofer be suggested?

I use the speaker mostly to listen songs.

I would not justify any cost to get those up and running at this point if it cannot be repaired. It would probably cost as much to fix than get a new one.

I think if you can get the subwoofer repaired...then it makes sense...provided it is done at a nominal cost....

I gifted this speaker system to my bro in law almost 6 years back...picked it from Lamington Road for 3700 or something.....still works well...

Check the woofer...could be a small fuse or connectivity or cone issue...

Any TV technician should be able to check it.. Anyways, since it is many yrs old, why not dismantle it yourself and see if the woofer isn't damaged..
