No, it does'nt. Neither do the other glass shelves, many in that room.
The bass is not the thumping variety, but the one which blends seamlessly with the mids giving the resemblance of ' visual depth behind an object'.

Sounds like the kind of bass change I got from switching from jamo avr to ca840a. It can be good but sometimes one yearns for a little more texture down there.

It is not the nature of speakers, it is of the krell 400xi.. Sometime back read the review and it was mentioned like that.

Avid should be more than happy to demonstrate them for you. Unfortunately, i was not able to hear these speakers for more than 10 hrs during the entire building process due to my other priorities and office work. Hope you guys will be able to judge the SQ better.

That perfectly describes what I had felt like when I heard them at hari's place..just didn't have the right words to describe it like this...

I was with some interesting fem company ... taking advantage of my better-half's absence ... she wanna learn a bit about hi-fi .... and I am willing to teach free of cost and also take care of the fooding .... most of you 'kids' won't know how relishing it is :licklips: ... ok, herez the show, hope it comes out as desired ... am doing it first time ... maybe, beginner's luck should come into play .....
