Android auto not showing Qobuz

Hi,

Anyone using Qobuz in Android Auto? I have Qobuz installed in my phone; but its not getting shown in the Android auto screen on my vehicle headunit. The headunit only shows Spotify.

However, while connected in Android auto, i can play tracks from Qobuz; I will have audio output from the headunit. But the headunit does NOT show the Qobuz app as such.

My phone is Samsung S24 Ultra with latest version of Android Auto. What could be wrong?

Qo uzz is not there on playstore India both tidal qobuz will not be displayed but you can play them since it's via bluetooth.

I think there is setting where you can enable the apps to be shown under Android Auto. Will update after checking.

Yes. Got that. Now playing Qobuz in Android Auto.

- Enable developer mode in Android Auto settings. This can be done by clicking the version information 10 times.
- Once developer mode is activated, you can choose to show apps from unknown sources in Android Auto developer mode settings.

Download the latest qobuz apk file and install it, no vpn needed

There is way to install apps from ply store even if they are not available in our country, for example Tidal and Qobuz.

What you need to have is a new Google email account where the country should be USA or where the app is available on play
store.

VPN might be required while creating the new Google account. Not after that

Once you have the new email, add that to your phone, switch to that email account in play store and you have everything from play store. I get all the Tidal updates this way. Apk way won't be auto update the apps.

This isn’t a problem with your phone or head unit. Qobuz doesn’t currently have full Android Auto interface support like Spotify does. That’s why it won’t show up as an app on the head unit, even though audio plays fine when started from the phone. Android Auto allows background playback, but without proper integration the app won’t appear or offer on-screen controls. Your S24 Ultra and Android Auto version are working as expected. Until Qobuz adds official Android Auto UI support, this behavior is normal.
