Dear FM's,

I am looking to upgrade my Home Theatre System. For speakers, I will mostly go with MK Sound. Need help with AV processor & Power Amp. I have zeroed in Anthem D2v 3D and Cary Audio 12 for the processor. And Anthem A5 and Cary Audio 250.7 for the amps.

Need help to go either Anthme or Cary Audio route. Not sure if mix-match will be a good idea.

What would you recommend ?

Thank you for your inputs :)

Both Cary Audio & Anthem is in my budget. I have auditioned Cary Audio but have never heard/seen Anthem in action. Hence the query.

When it comes to the AV processor, as per review & press Anthem D2V 3D scores over Cary Audio Cinema 12. What makes me tilt over Cinema 12 is that it does not tweak the video that comes from the source. Where as the D2V is really capable of doing all sort of possible things with the picture/image. Given the current standard of Blu-Rays not sure if I need that much of image processing capability.

As regards the power amp, I already have a Marantz 7005 & Denon 2016. They have been good to listen to and served me pretty well in my current HT speaker setup. But as I upgrade to MK's I feel I would need much more capable power to get the best out of them. I have listened to Bryston, while they are very powerful I have not been too thrilled with their sound signature.
