Anybody tried DIY anodizing

Current Project : F5

Is it worth doing Anodizing at Home.

One of the components needed is dc power supply. Cant we use the toroids which we got for our F5. can we build a circuit around it such that it does the power supply.

I checked with the vendors over here. They are charging about Rs 2 per square inch.

What are the issues we face while doing anodizing.

I feel it is not worth the effort. There are plenty of anodizers, power coating etc shops here.
Pl check with Raghunath. He did lot of research of this for the chassis I posted in the other thread.

Pm Raghunath,he knows few shops in Hydrabad.Don't forget to meet him and see his creations whenever you get time.He has built some excellent stuff.

do brush finish with hand and apply thin industrial clearcoat
