Asus O Play Mini and Correct Movie Aspect Ratio.

Dear All

I have some 720p MKV movies at 1280 X 720 resolutions with black borders and some at 1280 X 536 that is encoded without the black borders.

Now the question is will the Asus OPlay Mini add black borders to play the 1280X 536 movie at the correct aspect ratio or will it crop the frame to fill the 16:9 screen.

Kindly note that the VLC Media Player adds black borders for movies encoded without black borders during playback.

Genuine experience from Asus O Play Mini users will be highly appreciated.

Try the following setup, it should work.

Setup--> Video -->

Aspect Ratio--> 16:9
TV System --> HDMI Auto
Video Zoom --> Off
