Hello
I am Kaushik Mitra. I have Quad 66 Pre and Quad 606 Power Amp and Quad 22 L Floorstanding Speaker and also I have NAD C 520 CD Player and Audio Note DAC One ( 1x Signature).With this I use Ecosse MS 4.45 Speaker Cable and VDH Interconnect and also VDH Digital co axial Interconnect.
Also I have another Philips 624 CD Player. I want the expart opinion about my system. Are my system is matching or not. which CD Player should I use with my system for better performance. Hi Kaushik

I am a fellow music-lover in Kolkata. There are a few others in Kolkata who are members of the forum. There are many who are not members.

Your system appears quite reasonable to me, although I do not know about your Vandelan interconnects (I know about Van den Hul or VDH in short).

I or anybody can suggest: you should do this and that. However, it's not so simple, as you already perhaps know.

I'd go and listen to as many systems as possible in comparison to my own, and then try to determine what I like about my system that I do not want to part with, and also what is lacking in mine. Then the next stage would be to try and rectify that within the limits of my affordability or slightly beyond it. This is a hobby where you always end up over-spending.

On the other hand, if you are happy with your system, my humble suggestion is: do not bother. Just enjoy the music and whenever you have the time, share your experience with the like-minded people on the forum. Personally I like to procure as much music as I can and listen to them and take care of the source-media (CDs, LPs, Cassettes) so that they provide entertainment for a long time.

Welcome . Its nice to have one more forum member from Kolkata. Hope you will get your required suggestions here. And beware - upgrading might superceed music listening ( as Asit also has hinted ) - I have suffered this phase. However a good combination really improves the listening experience.
