Audioquest Forest USB cable not working

It's a 2 years old cable bought on amazon uk, always do plug and play with my macbook pro. Yesterday i felt some loose connection with the cable and the laptop. Today the cable completely stopped working. No problem with the laptop and dac as i already checked with a printer cable which worked fine.

Now i want to get it repaired before going on with the new one as i liked the cable very much in my chain.

Looks like a generic issue with the AQ's USB connectors. I am facing the same - loose contacts, with my AQ Black USB DAC though it's handled with care & cleaned up.

Anyone who is into cable DIY & stuff like that here, on the forum, could help you replace it or you may write to AQ CS ([email protected]) for a tip or two. They are usually quick to respond. You may give a try!
