Bassoon 5.1 remote kit

Hello,

Currently I am using Optical to 5.1 analog DAC (RUSH HD) between my TV and 5.1 home theatre system and connection is as below.



And it works great.
Only gripe is, no remote control or way to adjust individual channel volume.

I came across a product called bassoon-5-1-home-theater-remote-kit.
If I wire above product to my setup as below, will it work?

I have contacted the seller about the product.
With my current setup, I get 5.1 (6 channels) decoded correctly. (except on prime video)
Hope adding this wont mess up that.
I just wanted to have the ability control volume of individual channels via remote.

Yes. This module is being used widely in 5.1 assembled amplifiers available in the market. It should serve the purpose.

I have purchased 5.1 remote kit and tested by hardwiring and it works.

Now I want to put the whole thing in a separate box with proper connectors.
Below is what I have in mind, If someone could please review.

2 x MX 6 Way RCA Female Connector (MX-62). 1 set contains 6 connectors.
One for connecting the output from Optical to 5.1 analog DAC to 5.1 remote kit
Another for taking output from 5.1 remote kit to Home theatre.


2 x MX 3 RCA Male Plug To MX 3 RCA Male Plug Cord Tip Gold Plated 1.5 Meter Elite (MX-1093M) . One set contains 3 cables with both end male RCA connectors
