Best budget Bookself speakers

Congratulations. Excellent decision. Do post your buying experience and initial impressions out of the box. Try recording a snippet and comparing it a similar recording after a week or so.

Where are you located in Bangalore? Do drop in if you wish to A B them with Kef towers and a Marantz receiver.

MaSh

Yes yes, I will be creating another thread shortly for the same.

The recording idea, haha never thought of that. Time to pull out my bullet mic and DSLR for it :ohyeah:

I am located nearby Banashankari 2nd stage. I would absolutely love to stop by and do an A B. Where are you located sir?

@humblebee,I've seen four different threads with u pitching the Elac ub5. In another thread the OP mantioned his budget was 1 lakh, surely u can't seem to believe the Elac ub5 is that good?f

i just recently happened to demo these and many others like b&w kef etc and they have the lowest distortion. even lower than ls50. the other impressive ones were svs ultra.

Best Budget Bookshelf :
try
1.Taga Azure B-40 (6.5" driver 40hz low end) @15k
2.Taga Platinum One @17k
its "Very" difficult to beat Taga for performance/price

Going by this post I think I will go for Dali Zensor 3. Got quote of 29400 from Uniquesys in Bangalore. Also had got the the option of Elac B6 for 27500 but chose Dali coz of the looks.

What would be your best pair of Bookshelf speakers for about 30k INR? Loving to find out the opinion of everyone here and their 2 cents on this topic.

Been checking Mission LX2 but I have no idea about them as I have never auditioned them before.

Right now, looking at ELAC, Wharfs (I had a pair of Diamond 9.1s), Mission speakers.

Open to get used items in the budget as well. Cheers!
Can you please share what was your final call and review?

I went ahead and closed the deal for a pair of Dalis. Hooking them with a good Nad or Marantz amp will give you a good sound. Elac was punchier but I liked how the Dalis just a bright AND felt warm and not shouting at the same time.

All though the Dalis went form front speakers into my theater surrounds now, I still enjoy it. I sugest getting a powerful amp with a warm signature to tone down the Dalis. Placement is critical as well. Cheers!

What amp do you have at present?
Would love to hear the Dali.
Last I heard them was on a show.
Cheers,

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
