best sd video connection for 42 inch tv

I am going to buy 42 inch led tv.
So,which connection is best for sd channels,as most of the tv viewing will be sd channels only.
Does reliance 250 HD like really true or just a scam?
I do not want any regional or south pack or interactive service.
I want all hindi entertainment,kids,english movies ,news and other channels.
Which connection is good during rainy season?
I donot want mono sound from my tv
Please tell me some economical package.

Airtel is economical. Mega pack is 320 (including taxes) and almost all channels are there. But it has worst customer care. If you can live with that, it is a good option.

Tatasky is also good. Very good customer care. But you will have to shell out more for getting all the channels. It has mega lite package which has all the channels Tatasky offers and cost 5500 for an year.

Why dont you go for a HD box like TataSky+HD. Initial cost is high but per month is almost same. You get better quality SD and HD channels. I think for a LED TV, HD is the best option.

Best connection in the order of merit: HDMI --> Component --> Composite.

But HDMI (and perhaps Component too) is available on HD enabled STBs only.

Reliance HD 250 channels are mostly upscaled channels. They clearly say "HD-like". Only a few (4-5) are real HD channels.

Reagional pack (at least one) is available free with any DTH pack - be it any provider. If your wish list is what you state, you will probably have to go for a high end pack as "English Movies" and "English Entertainment" is packaged with top-end packs only.

The cheapest service is from Videocon D2H with good service. TataSky has best quality/service. All others are beads in the garland placed at various positions.

I will go for hd box only.But,my main concern is SD channel viewing,rain outage,economical,less channel changing time etc.

I was asking about company.
I heard that videocon has pixellation problem.And what abt reliance tv quality?

If you want the best SD picture quality thats that easy get reliance Digital,but channel changing time isn't fast.

All dths have trouble showing in rain.
