I recently purchased U-571 BD from Amazon UK and I noticed the following differences with the US BD
1. Audio the US Blu ray has 5.1 DT HD MA while the UK one has 5.1 DTS HD HR (High Res).
DTS HD HR is a lower format typically limited to ~6Mbps while DTS HDMA is limited to ~25 Mbps
The difference may or may not be significant but might need to be tested, but if you have a choice please buy the US version.
The other part is that DTS HD HR is not a very popular format so may not play in your AVR or player.
2. The video aspect ratio in the UK version has been modified from the studio default of 2.35:1 to 1.78:1
I normally compare these differences in dvdcompare.net or blu-ray.com but somehow missed it.
So this is a pre-warning before anyone buys this blu ray disk.
P.S. - Its still a mindblowing disk esp. for testing your sub but why compromise
