Big Tv + Logitech Harmony One

Logitech's Harmony one universal remote has preset codes within their database to hook up your devices. However for that you require the brand and model number of the device you wish to control. This is where I have a problem, does anyone know which brand is the Reliance Big TV STB (set top box)? Previous forums state Al Tech while one respondent stated go to your STB setting and you'll get your model make - there it states HTD...... Both brands, although recognised by the harmony database, did not have the model number specified behind the reliance STB.

Has anyone had any expeirence hooking up their logitech universal remote to the Reliance Big Tv STB? - other than the option of learning the big tv remote

The harmony remotes also have a learning mode. So if you can not find the model in the database, you can always use the original remote to make the Harmony learn each and every key in the original remote. This is surely not as easy as just picking the device out of the list, but it does the trick.

Big tv uses their own codes irrespective of the make of the STB.Best option is to use the learning mode.
