Blu-ray Drive

Thanks Subhash, it will be a while before I buy a drive. Focus for 2011 is to buy atleast 8TB of harddisk......for some good samaritans have been busy with their BD-ROM drives;).

I already for 8TB NAS,,,, So just focus more than me>>>>:)

I got LG Bluray writer model No : WH10LS30 + 5 Disk BluRay ROMs + 1 BD disc with separate case + 3D Glasses for $115 in NewEgg deal month back

I have a question : Will this writer reaqd the Blurays available in India?
I have checked the Regoin code, It shows Regoin A now and Changes Remaining : 5

Shall I change to Regoin C , India and use it?

I want to change it bacause, the blu rays I get in India is regoin C but the drive is from US so It does not read the blurays available in india!!

I am not sure if my analogy is correct here. Someone can comment on this.

Recieved and installed BD writer (LG- WH10LS30K) into my PC
Main Purpose is to Rip and store Rented BD's which i like to rewatch ,transfer it to the 2TB External HDD and watch in HT set up via Xtreamer

Price of BD burner 103$

The LG burner is ripping the movies with out any issues!!! using the DVDFAB software, in M2TS files

Only issue is my PC does not support playback of either the BD or the ripped files (its a nonissue as i wud prefer to watch in HT)
it takes a good 60-45min!! to rip a 50GB BD on to the HD

yet to transfer to xternal HDD and chk playback via xtreamer
