I am extremely sorry. I actually had mistakingly mentioned "mkvtoolnix". I used "tsmuxer" software & its pretty easy to convert to m2ts in it. Just drag & drop the file. You can see the audio - video codecs in the General Track Options. Then de-select/select the audio options as per your choice. Click on m2ts-muxing. Then, it will take approx 10-12 minutes & you are done.
In "MKV Toolnix" same steps excluding "Click on m2ts-muxing". In "MKV Toolnix" we need to save as our desired format.

When you will assign a name to new file to be saved, Just give new name with .M2ts before starting the operation.
Last Night, I already tried converting mkv to M2ts. No benefit. Still, TrueHD not worked but rest worked.
Well I am just going to skip with the conversation as my shield plays everything.

Congrats for your new shield. But I'm bound to continue use of my Sony X700.
I tried m2ts but again TrueHD not worked.
Have you tied it yourself? Which software did you use for conversion into m2ts?

So sony BDP 1500 wont play MKV format at all though USB? In another thread you said it plays all file formats through USB [HERE], please reply, i was about to buy one.
It plays MKV. Only dolby atmos in MKV formats wont work. If you are going to watch DTS, DTS HD master, DTS mstr X, and other dolby contents in MKV it will work. And also Atmos in M2ts format will work

Yes. If you want to play atmos in HD you have to get the content in M2ts format and it will work flawless. Another option is the pioneer bdp 180
