I am looking to buy a Book Shelf speaker stand (floor standing) for WF 10.2 (bit heavy). I read the old 2008 thread on stands and couldn't find any ready made stand available in chennai.Currently i am using Jenefas (chennai) stand which is kind of ok; but bit shaky due to the weight of my speakers. Also it is made of iron rods (adjustable heights) & a iron plate on top (http://www.jenefas.com/images/jj_tsp_b.jpg) A pair of it cost only Rs. 1200. However i want something sturdy without shaking.
In Grand Cenemas, Chennai i saw Wharfedale book shelf speaker stand. It was looking good; but cost 14K :-(. The other option i found in Onkyo India website is stand at different fixed heights (http://www.onkyoindia.com/omnimount/speakerstands/main200.htm). I dont know the cost of Onkyo stands. I am yet to inquire about them.
Meanwhile, if any of you have a better choice for reasonable price (around 5 to 6K), pls share the info. Thanks
