Bought: Panasonic 32" LCD and Onkyo HT

Any further help on the following will be appreciated:
1. Why my Phillips DVD not play through HDMI. I have connected the Phillips to the Onkyo through HDMI and then the Onkyo to the TV also through HDMI

This again should be a settings problem. In some system when you switch HDMI on, the OSD may disappear. Do the following:

1. Using a monitor out or the component connection, ensure all your HT setting are correct for audio and video.

2. Make sure that the <HDMI Out> is 'On' in the DVD Player. This is only optional and some players may not even have the setting.

3. Go to the HT and set <HDMI In> to 'On'. At this juncture all display on the TV may disappear except a small flag on the right top saying something like 'HDMI 720P' Insert a DVD on the player and see if you get the video on the TV. If so you are all set. !!

Cheers
