Guys i have a brushless water pump that is rated at 24V , 1 Amp. What is the correct transformer specs that work for this pump?

Currently i have a 24V , 1 Amp transformer that is overheating and Voltage is dropping to 10V when it is switched on .. Will a 24V, 3 Amp transformer work well for this pump ??

Hi , Did your motor work with 3A Transformer ?

You will need good quality transformer, because motor will draw continuous 1A current at the rated load. The xmers we get from the market , if rated at 1A , will only be capable of supplying half that current on a continuous basis.

I think a 2A xmer will do the trick , 3A is even better. What kind of rectification are you using ?
