Building Fixed frame 100" screen

Hello all,
I started fabricating 16:9 projection screen.

The frame work in progress. Hopefully to finish by this weekend.

Two 1.5" X 1" aluminum rectangular tube of 12' for the frame brought.

Cut into 224 cm and 127 cm as internal length at 45 degree angle.( done at local workshop). Outer dimensions are 231 cm and 134 cm.

Drilled holes on corners to attach L clamps.

I used hand riveter for the first time. The results were satisfying.

Cost incurred so far
Aluminium tube : 500/- approx
L clamps : 100/-
rivets and screws : 50/-

I brought Hand riveter to include in my tools. so 500/- extra.

Stopped joining the frame. Thought holes to be put on the frame for fixing the cloth. There is a confusion here.

Search for "Carl" and you will find posts/threads with DIY screen. It's a cloth brand which has been used by some FMs.

Nope, I already purchased blackout cloth locally. Yeah, i'm aware of Carl.

I confused how to fix that on frame. If it was wood, staple gun can be used. I selected aluminium because the screen is to be placed over 4 door window, so there is a chance of wood to bend later. Also, aluminium was cheaper than wood.

Check the shops selling curtain cloths. I selected 220/ meter cloth which is 54" in width.Also available at 48" which will cost less.

Back side and corners to be done properly. Also Black borders to be added.

Pre drilled holes on frame with 1.5" apart. Placed the frame above the cloth ( to get even tension). I used screws and nails. If rivet was used, the (big) holes on screen might damage it.

I followed the below instructions.

I bought the cloth from chakolas near sridar cinemas. Also, available at royal furnishings kacheripady. But at royal 48" was only available.

When i tried to upload pictures to album here, it was bit strain and showing quota is over. So i quit that method.

I turned on auto upload to onedrive in my phone. So, its easy to get a link and paste here. The only problem is, it cant display as inline.

Since the screen is on window, now I'm looking for black cloth to prevent light from outside.
Also the black border to be purchased. Not yet finalized.
