Buying subwoofer from US.

I'm planning to buy sub woofer directly from US, anybody has got any experience from the below forwarder sites, please let me know.

I have checked with few of my friends and looks like forwarders are very common in US and don't see any negative reviews anywhere in internet but couldn't find anybody who actually availed the services.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I usually buy things when I travel there and bring it with me. Be careful though of the voltage difference 110V there vs 220V here.

SVS PB1000, its not about the price, its availability. The Indian dealer not sure about when they are going to get it. I spoke to the SVS guys and they are ready to ship it to India.

But due to the customs formalities i thought of checking with a 'forwarder'

220/110 v isn't a problem, just need to mention it while ordering.

Yeah they take care of it. Option 3,4 are kind of prepaid. You will have to pay customs upfront. Option 1,2 take care. But when they deliver thou will have to pay them by cash

If it's pre paid, I would suggest border linx. They are more transparent and customer service is prominent. Among 1,2 anything you can go. They internally have tie ups. One uses others freight. I think HSG is slightly better. Not sure though. Good luck

You usually have to pay the shipping company. But they provide a proper bill and everything, so its pretty transparent.
