Can connect 4-6 ohms speakers?

Hello my amp's minimum impedence is 8 Ohms, Can I Connect 4 or 6 Ohms speakers to my amp?

You can. But don't push volume control to max. 4 ohm draws more current than 8 ohm speakers, so at high volumes it may damage the Amp.

Which amp do you have?6 ohm is ok,but make sure it can drive 4ohm speakers to prevent clipping.

If minimum is 8 ohms and you use a 4 ohm speaker the amp will run very hot and it may get damaged in the long run. 6 ohms will also pose a problem, however it is still a easier load than a 8 ohm load

I ran 4 ohm speakers recently in Mumbai meet with Yamaha 667.Though I could select only 6 ohm in yamaha,I pushed amp to run,it did,but was little more Hot than usual.
It is always safe to use 8 OR 6 ohm speakers.You never know amp can trip if push harder.
