If you have an AVR, then you can use that with Power Amp from Pre-Out to power channels. You can also do this without AVR with a Pre-Amp and Power-Amp combo. The Emotiva BasX is beginner level and is decent Power Amp. If you want a good Power Amp for music then it is easily 2-3 lakhs atleast. You can opt for the O&B 3 channel power amp and that will work out cheaper and provide sound signature neutrally as passed on by the AVR. The catch is you need to drive 5 speakers which are 4 Ohm impedance ones and all 5 need more power. So it is better to go for a good 5 channel Power Amp for your LCR and surrounds.

to do 7.x.4, you need an AVR that can support 11 channels but Cinema 50 supports 9 channels only right? The Marantz has a warm sound signature which can favor more music listening and the x4800H is more neutral and can adapt to both Movies and Music. Please sample both of these back to back if possible. I have sampled multiple clips and found the Denon better for movies when I purchased them recently. Also which ones are your height channel speakers?

i am eying on rubikore 6 and rubikore cinema all 3 4ohms to power with emotiva
