Hi folks have a basic doubt ,
can Marantz SR5015( 100W per channel 8 Ohm) drive below 5.1 setup optimally (sufficient ampllification for the big boxes) ,for the speakers to be performing well in the medium sound settings ?

Will the amp be overburnded and running hot or am i thinking too much .

Lx 6 MkII x 2
Lx 2 MkII x 2
Lx C2 MkII
QB12

Plan to use for Music & HT (50:50)

I ask this as the recommended amp power for Lx 6 MkII is 30-200W as per https://www.mission.co.uk/lx-6-mk2/
so this amp with max of 100W is falling in the middle of this range.

No issues at all, it will work fine. In practice, you won't need to pump so much power. The speakers are of 91db sensitivity and will be driven well by the AVR. The AVR itself is having enough power.

audyssey will take care through auto setup levels n settings...it should run fine.....keep the avr on ECO Auto mode

There won't be an issue as Marantz avrs assure 70% of power rattings. In HT subwoofer will handle Bass and reduce load on AVR.While playing music, it can provide enough power since only 2 channels/stereo are used. You can check and set matching speaker impedence too.

Purchase the Audiolab 6000A Integrated Amplifier at a special offer price.
