Can Oppo BDP 83 be made region code free ?

A friend is soon going to be visiting from the US. Am thinking of asking him to bring over a Oppo BDP-83 for me.

The specs state that it can handle 110-240 volts, so no voltage transformer will be required.

Question I have is - is there any Region code hack or kit for Oppo ? Or will I be stuck using only Region A BDs.
What about DVDs - can it be made region code free at least for DVDs ?

Yes, it can be made region free. Members here, have imported the hardware mods kits, like from here
