It is a Sciphone I9\I68.

(dual-GSM sim touch phone)

Sciphone is a iphone cloning company that clones iphone fast, the latest is i think with 10 page menu.

I have the latest Sciphone I9 in Pune but disposing it off for 4-5k...
going for real iphone

itz sciphone i9+++ , not expecting to run "serious apps" on it, iphone is iphone at 32k+ ....

but at 3.6K, this one keeps 2 sims,some iphone like touch screen,8GB memory support,
at least runs opera mini(touch screen version) and i can type easily with the stylus.




this piece will act as a secondary phone, to grab some
better STD offers etc.

IMEI number , it has 2 for 2 sims

some mp3 playback(decent Q will try adding Fiio E5)
, some casual uses


until it falls off my hands, not a bad toy for pass time....

there is a sciphone community ,

some very well written guides i have found there
to know about these phones

the phone runs on some MEDIATEK chip
and OS is nucleus (ported linux)...
has java support with heap mem of 1 MEG

ui is like iphone .. loaded with features...
the phone has a REMOTE CONTROL via bluetooth feature ..never tried
IR is not there ,as it is useless most of the time ,BT does all

Also wifi is not there,
the sciphone (i9+++)makers are releasing one with wifi and one with Google android ..will take time to reach india


CAUTION:
there are many i9+++ fakes , very hard to figure out ,


things i like
- 3.5inch screen good quality LCD
- shake to change wall paper ,song
- tilt sensor to rotate pics ,video
-no cheap looking speakers,icon usually found in chinese phones
- has A2DP (stereo BT headsets support),GPRS class 10, java(touch screen java applications can be loaded)
-decent MP3 320kbps,wav playback
-preloaded QQ free sms,chat app ..in case phone is connectedGPRS ...
-lott of firmware r available for upgrades online

dislikes: video playback ,camera ...


most importantly:
As i intended i loaded Opera touch screen version ,with full on screen keyboard support :clapping:, let me enable GPRS n test
