Canadian Hi-Fi Manufacturers Thread

[Canadian Hi-Fi]

I thought I would begin a thread on the topic of Canadian Hi-Fi equipment manufacturers, considering there has been interest on this forum in such information.

Although there are Canadian manufacturers whom are already well recognized many others exist in the marketplace which are lower key in their advertising efforts and often build the kind of equipment many of us would greatly like to see more widely available. I'll compile a list as best I can and post them when possible.

There is also Energy. That is a brand which needs some representation in this part of the world. As does Canton - but that is no Canadian brand.

Naturally, there are other manufacturers who produce peripheral items such as patch bays, cabling and sources. As time permits such a list can be added to this thread for reference.

I knew they had been taken over. Didnt realise that they had moved the design function out of the UK altogether.

These 3 brands were over by Klipsch. So essentially they are a US company now! Also for the ultra rich (not necessarily ultra high end) Hansen and Reference 3A are good speaker companies to look into
