Hi,

I recently bought a projector (optoma HD141x), and ordered Carl's FlexiGray screen to build a projector screen (40" * 71").

40x71 in FlexiGray Projector Screen Material (Remnant -Like New!)

I bought a remnant piece, and now i want to build the screen. Though it is preferred for a fixed screen, i do not have that facility.
I want to build a Map type, which can be rolled over after watching.

What material should i get for bars(wooden or steel or thin pipe) at top and bottom of the screen. How should i stick the screen to these bars?

Can you guys please suggest, if you have any experience in building the map type screen? Screen looks like rexin (meant for outdoor purpose, made of PVC material).

If you are buying/bought carl's screen please refer the carl's screen website for instructions to build a fixed screen frame.

You can you wood. Try to locate a vinyl poster maker and they can do the frame in wood and also they are experts in nailing the screen to the frame with out any wrinkles
