Hi All -

I have installed a map type projector screen 100 inch (5ft x 7ft). I have a UNIC UC40+ projector that can do 100 inch which I believe 4:3 aspect ratio.

After doing all the settings, the width fits correctly but the height doesn't (There is gap of about 10inch). Am I missing something. How do you resolve this?

5x7 means an aspect ratio of 1.4:1.
Movies are mostly 16:9 or 2.35:1.
So you are bound to have the blank screen space.
Nothing you can do about it.
Unless you reduce the screen height to suit the projection height.
But in that case, old movies in 4:3 ratio will overflow top and/or bottom.

The distance and position was not accurate. Almost got the full 5x7 screen and adjusted the small blank space to be equal on all 4 sides. Projector settings overflows the screen but other OTT contents looks great.

Most screens are 16:9 and 4:3, so there's bound to be some white space.
You can search for the VIVIDSTORM's ALR anti-light screen electric floor screen, which allows you to enjoy your home theater during the day.
And the height can be adjusted. When you need a 4:3 ratio, use the slider to lower the screen to match your movie scale, and keep the height the next time you open it.
