I use this formula:
(EM [tonearm effective mass in grams] + CW [cartridge weight in grams] + FW [fastener weight in grams]) x compliance at 100Hz = A
159/sq root of A = Resonant Frequency
Note: I usually multiply Japanese compliance specs rated at 10Hz by 1.75
