Carver C-5 Preamp issue with one channel

Hi,

My Carver c-5 preamp cuts off one channel in between while playing and automatically it becomes fine. One channel gets stuck sometime.
Am controlling manually and not using remote control, am not sure if that would be the reason.

I have connected to Carver TFM 15CB power amplifier.

Appreciate if you could guide me to resolve this issue.
