Hello,
I normally rip my CDs as wav files using windows media player. It works fine for most of the cds. I face a peculiar problem while ripping mostly indian CDS released by Saregama and also lot of local bengali CDS that they appear as unknown CDs. I have tried naming the rips and organising in a folder but when squeezebox access them they appear as unknown. As a result I have huge number of unknown artist song in my squeezebox playlist. Could anybody tell what is wrong with CDs i mean are they missing any particular identifier files. Is it possible to manually create the identifier files and include them in the ripped folder so that the songs are arranged properly. Also there is a peculiar problem with few CDs like the first song appears as unknown and Squeezebox sends them in a separate unknown folder. any squeezebox user out there facing this kind of issue. Any help in this matter will be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mahiruha.
