compatible Tower Speakers for Yamaha RX-V 465

Hi folks,

I Would be getting Yamaha RX-V 465 from Malaysia by end of this month.
I have Budget constraint for Complete 5.1 Setup as of now hence planning to upgrade in stages i.e Am planning to go for Tower speakers and later on add center ,surround and sub.

I would like to know the Tower speakers available with in my budget ( 15-18K ) which is compatible with Yamaha RX-V 465.

I would however recommend Wharf 9.2/10.2 to be tried out as well instead of the FSs in this budget.

i am specifically looking out for floor stand speakers. so probably will go with either Polk TSI300 or Polk Monitor 50 after audition.

I have auditioned both Polk Audio and wharfedale. To me wharfedale performance is better than polk. however what ever suits your ear, nothing can math that.....

Yes they can. However many people would find Wharf 9.2 >= Polk TSI300 perhaps even in bass.

So if you are going to have those as surrounds, then your fronts should be at least Wharf 9.5 or so.
