Hi,

In tata sky plus the programs are recorded on the memory and its in incripted form so there is no way through which you could transfer that onto a cd or dvd.

This should work but have not tried.

Connection needed.
TS+ to AVR via Analog AV in
AVR to VCR / DVD Recorder via Analog AV out

When you play TS+ recorded program, it can be simultaneously recorded in the VCR/DVD-R. However, you must play the entire program. There is no direct transfer method.

I record from Dishtv with my PC.I have installed TVtuner card which has AV input.I connect Dishtv AV output to AV input of TVtuner> play the program & record it at same time.Various formats available from DVD to iPod too.

You can try same way.Recorded Q is good & stereo recording is possible...
(avertv 007 FM plus go card)
