DAC for Mac Mini

Recently I saw a sell post from member about ASUS Xonar Essence STX
given reason was "got a mac mini"

Just wonder how Mac Mini replace DAC requirement?

well I have mac mini late 2012 model and looking to buy DAC which will match in term of form factor with mini and about 50K budget

It must be an internal DAC then to be used in PCI slot. Arcam rDac has very similar dimensions. Should cost around 30 to 35k. If I remember correctly, it used to be originally advertised with Mac mini.
